Public ComedySportz Classes

Read a recent FoxNews.com article on how business people hone their skills with improv-based training: Professionals Tap Their Funny Bone

Improv 101 | Improv 201 | High School

Young or old, novice or experienced, ComedySportz workshops are a way to have fun and learn improv in a friendly environment.

Classes are not just for those interested in theatre and performing on stage. According to FoxNews, business people around the country are honing their business skills with our improv-based training. Work-a-day professionals are flocking to improvisational-comedy classes not to become the next Robin Williams, but better lawyers, doctors and businesspeople.

Wayne Brady, the famous improviser and entertainer from Whose Line is it Anyway?, recommends ComedySportz as the place to learn improv.

High School Leagues™

ComedySportz High School League teaches improv and theatre skills, teamwork, focus, listening, acceptance and fun. Eligible players come from area high schools (18 years old or less) and workshop together, culminating in a show for the public.

Experience is not necessary (although certainly welcome). Our workshops feature a level and nurturing playing field.

How much?  It depends upon many factors.  But it may be anywhere from $10-$50 per student per semester/quarter.  Often the school will fund all or part of the program.  So, it will cost the students significantly less if school is involved in funding the program.

Right now, University High School has an on-going and active HS League program.  If you are interested in having one in your school, then have your drama teacher or other instructor contact us.  Alternatively, gather together at least 10 students at your school and we can arrange a HS league for your school.

For more info, please fill-out our info request form. Alternatively, call us at 509-363-1279.
