Teambuilding FAQ

Main "Group Unity" Page

"Our team has struggled...with communication and rapport. The team was not comfortable with their peers, because they saw them simply as a group of people that they met with a few times a year.  I was frustrated by this, because the depth of talent and experience that they each possessed was going to waste;  they were not sharing it with each other, and learning from each other.

I was extremely pleased with the way our meeting went, and with the way that [the GUTz leader] handled the group.  He was energetic and positive the whole afternoon, and I received several compliments from the team on how well he kept the day moving, and kept it all interesting.

I will, without hesitation, be recommending SpoComedy's [GUTz] to my peers here at Target.  I know if my team is still talking, and laughing, about their experience, that it was time well spent. "

"Since our [GUTz] workshop, my supervisors have been more effective in their communication and recognition of 'their customers', the front line employees. I personally enjoyed the fact that your group is professional, non-judgmental, encouraging and fun."

"The results will be seen for some time, because this is by far the best organization development method I have encountered.  The openness on everyone's part was immediate and continued to unfold over the next couple of days (of the statewide network meeting). Thank you for refreshing our spirits and giving us a new outlook on our work."

"I think our offsite Friday went really well. I was very pleased to see the folks who had been very apprehensive about the whole thing really open up & eagerly participate. It was exactly what the group needed after the difficult time we'd just been through. I received comments that it was the group activities which centered around fun, teamwork, and self-disclosure that made the group really feel like a team again. I think the most obvious proof of the success of the group activities was the fact they wanted to continue the group togetherness & met at a restaurant after leaving our offsite!"

The results were messy, but
top management took it in stride.

"I loved it. We're still referring to different things that we learned about each other, giving each other a hard time...I have heard nothing but positive comments and good memories shared."

"I am impressed yet again with your organization's ability to blend entertainment, warmth, proactivity, respect and compassion in what you do."
